About Cherry Thompson

Cherry Thompson is an English painter living in Oxfordshire. Cherry divides her time between painting in her studio, and running her gallery and picture-framing workshop, all situated in her beautiful Oxfordshire orchard.

Also residing in the orchard are her two friends David and Derek, her donkeys - another of her passions.

Her paintings range in subject according to public demand, but she is particularly popular for her landscapes painted predominantly in Spain and Italy.

Although interested in art, initially her income was boosted by becoming London’s youngest croupier. It wasn't until 1970 she started her professional painting career, living in Lebanon, where she continued to paint and study art. .
